Jessica Packer, the Empress, spent 16 years in the financial markets as a Portfolio Manager, Trader, and Corporate Credit Investment Banker in High Yield and Emerging Markets prior to starting IMPERIO jp. As a founding member of the Washington International School, her appreciation for every culture and country began early, and she finds beauty in each pocket of the world. As a Globetrotting businesswoman working throughout Latin America and Europe, she found that what she wanted for herself was generally off the beaten path, and never mass produced. Her ability to understand the difficulties of business in developing countries, and the desires of clients in the US and Europe made her choice to create IMPERIO easy – to design unique items from scratch that have never been seen before and bring them to new markets.
